Wu-pen Canh vs Ilyas Gulidze

Boxing Daily Report from the UAE Boxing promoted show at Ganja State Concert Hall, Ganja,  taking place on 22/05/2027:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Wu-pen Canh (16(10) - 1) who hails from Shah Alam, Malaysia and Ilyas Gulidze(12 - 5(2) - 1) from Baku, Azerbaijan.  Canh weighed in at 112 pounds, while Gulidze weighed in at 111 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Kazim Rasizade, and the three ringside judges are Nusrat Rahimov, Aqil Sheikh and Razi Alakbarov.  

Round 1: 

Gulidze tries to keep the action at long range.  Canh lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Canh lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Canh feints a left hook, but Gulidze is not fooled and lands with a left hook to Canh's ribs.  
Canh is looking to close the distance and digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Canh steps inside and is on target with a sharp right uppercut.  
Gulidze tries to step out of his opponents range.  Canh feints a jab, but Gulidze is not fooled and responds with a cross.  
Gulidze throws a right uppercut, but Canh clinches his opponent.  Canh hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. 
Gulidze lands a right hook.  Canh holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Canh pushes his forearm into Gulidze's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Canh.  
Gulidze steps away from his opponent.  Canh hits home with a cross.  
Canh digs in a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  Canh clinches his opponent.  Canh leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Gulidze is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Canh lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Canh lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Canh is on target with a firm right uppercut.  
Canh steps inside.  Gulidze pivots to the right of his opponent.  Canh connects with a firm left hook.  
Canh walks Gulidze into the red corner.  Canh lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Canh is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Canh lands consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body, AND DROPS GULIDZE TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  Gulidze now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.

Canh cuts off the ring, trapping Gulidze on the ropes.  Canh lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.

Canh manages to force Gulidze into a corner.  Canh lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.

Canh gets on the inside and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Gulidze hits home with a left hook.  Canh holds on to his opponent.  Canh leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Gulidze attempts to land a left hook, but Canh blocks the shot and counters with a FIERCE right hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE GULIDZE WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Gulidze recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Canh advances into close range and lands a left uppercut, right uppercut and a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Gulidze recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Canh lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Gulidze attempts to land a cross, but Canh slips the shot and counters with a nasty right uppercut to his opponents body.  IT LOOKS LIKE GULIDZE WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Canh gets on the inside.  Canh knows Gulidze is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Canh lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body.  He continues the combination and lands a right uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body.  It looks like Gulidze has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.
