Marlen Banasik vs Apostol Bodnar

Boxing Daily Report from the Matchmaker Promotions promoted show at Zernebog Matey Gym, Kryvyi Rih,  taking place on 02/04/2027:

Clearly Matchmaker Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ukraine-Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Marlen Banasik (13 - 1 - 1) who hails from Kryvyi Rih, Ukraine and Apostol Bodnar(14 - 8(1) - 1) from Dniprodzerzhynsk, Ukraine.  Banasik weighed in at 167 pounds and 11 ounces, while Bodnar weighed in at 168 pounds and 14 ounces.    As Bodnar came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Vanko Turchin, and the three ringside judges are Matviyko Krawchuk, Andrii Milkovich and Faddei Chopp.
