Brett Toroitich vs Davie Ntagali

Boxing Daily Report from the Kit Henderson Promotions promoted show at Kampala Onama, Kampala,  taking place on 02/05/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Uganda-Kampala District Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Brett Toroitich (9 - 7 - 4) who hails from Kampala, Uganda and Davie Ntagali(2 - 0) from Kampala, Uganda.  Toroitich weighed in at 242 pounds And 14 ounces, while Ntagali weighed in at 238 pounds And 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Rehman Shaikh, and the three ringside judges are Robert Ngologoza, Umair Rahim and Rehman Madani.  

Round 1: 

Toroitich connects with a left hook.  Toroitich attempts to land a right hook, but Ntagali parries the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Toroitich closes the distance.  Ntagali hits home with a sharp left uppercut.  
Ntagali is on target with a jab to his opponents body.  
Toroitich is on target with a cross.

Toroitich closes the distance.  Ntagali digs in a right uppercut to Toroitich's body.  Ntagali clinches his opponent.  Ntagali is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Ntagali to stop fouling.

TOROITICH HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  HE TRIES TO RISE ON SHAKY LEGS BUT TOROITICH CAN'T BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Ntagali!
