Bruce Hughes vs Ian Varona

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Oregon promoted show at Simwala Gym, Salem,  taking place on 02/05/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the USA-Oregon Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Now TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Bruce Hughes (19(6) - 3) who hails from Portland, USA and Ian Varona(13 - 4) from Portland, USA.  Hughes weighed in at 130 pounds, while Varona weighed in at 129 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Brett Edmison, and the three ringside judges are Gareth Shanklin, Charles Banks and Max Lewis.
