Mirza Iskenderov vs Andrii Aliev

Boxing Daily Report from the Kamwendo Promotions promoted show at Gennady Mamishov Gym, Toshkent,  taking place on 02/05/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Uzbekistan-Toshkent Shahri Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mirza Iskenderov (12 - 6 - 1) who hails from Toshkent, Uzbekistan and Andrii Aliev(8 - 5 - 5) from Toshkent, Uzbekistan.  Iskenderov weighed in at 167 pounds And 6 ounces, while Aliev weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Isaak Iskacow, and the three ringside judges are Bayram Mattar, Ashraf Dzhevanshir and Nikolai Abildaeff.  

Round 1:

As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Iskenderov has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Aliev pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a cross.  
Iskenderov is looking to close the distance and walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Aliev is on target with a left hook.
