Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ghana-Ashanti promoted show at Aphrodisiac Nightclub, Kumasi,  taking place on 04/05/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Western African Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on bTV Action, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Juwon Okoye (13(1) - 5) who hails from Enugu, Nigeria and Makalo Akamenya(17(1) - 5(3) - 2) from Kumasi, Ghana.  Okoye weighed in at 125 pounds and 4 ounces, while Akamenya weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Malcolm Habe, and the three ringside judges are Amon Amartey, Bob Antwi and Paul Kwakye.
