Luka Pavars vs Timofei Strazds

Boxing Daily Report from the Latvia Boxing promoted show at Elektrum Olympic Centre, Riga,  taking place on 24/06/2027:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Latvia Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Viasat Sport Baltic, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Luka Pavars (17(5) - 1) who hails from Riga, Latvia and Timofei Strazds(5 - 5 - 2) from Riga, Latvia.  Both Pavars and Strazds weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Koldan Mazbralis, and the three ringside judges are Mikhail Klavinsh, Boris Jaunslavietis and Ivan Prusis.
