Mahammad Medjidov vs Rasim Alekperov

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Tajikistan-Sughd promoted show at Bahruz Bairamov Gym, Khujand,  taking place on 05/05/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Tajikistan Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Varzish TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Mahammad Medjidov (5 - 5 - 2) who hails from Dushanbe, Tajikistan and Rasim Alekperov(6 - 3) from Konibodom, Tajikistan.  Both Medjidov and Alekperov weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dmitriy Dzhevanshir, and the three ringside judges are Aleksei Nadirov, Isaak Mamishov and Andrii Oshen.
