Salvador Sotelo vs Antonio Alcon

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Dominican Republic-Distrito Nacional promoted show at Santo Domingo de Guz Guardado, Santo Domingo de Guzman,  taking place on 08/04/2027:

Clearly AI Dominican Republic-Distrito Nacional have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Dominican Republic Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on CERTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Salvador Sotelo (11 - 12 - 2) who hails from Santo Domingo de Guzman, Dominican Republic and Antonio Alcon(15 - 2 - 2) from Santo Domingo de Guzman, Dominican Republic.  Sotelo weighed in at 153 pounds and 15 ounces, while Alcon weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Carlos Menendez, and the three ringside judges are Vicente Lena, Paco Cantero and Neper Alviar.
