Daniel Lawman vs Antwan Cerrito

Boxing Daily Report from the Spinger Boxing Club promoted show at Dallas Bertram, Dallas,  taking place on 11/05/2027:

Clearly Spinger Boxing Club have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Daniel Lawman (9(1) - 0) who hails from Boston, USA and Antwan Cerrito(4 - 4 - 1) from Charlotte, USA.  Both Lawman and Cerrito weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Harry Burwick, and the three ringside judges are Sean Richards, Joel Abraham and Leighton Fiddes.  

Round 1: 

Lawman steps inside and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Lawman holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Cerrito pushes his forearm into Lawman's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Cerrito.  
Lawman steps inside and lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Lawman lands a left hook, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents head.  
Lawman throws a left hook, but the shot is blocked.  Lawman clinches his opponent.  Lawman is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Lawman steps inside and drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Cerrito throws a right uppercut, but Lawman holds on to his opponent.  Lawman is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Lawman throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. 
Lawman gets on the inside.  Cerrito throws a right hook, but Lawman clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Lawman pushes his forearm into Cerrito's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Lawman hits home with a stinging left hook.  
Lawman is on target with a firm cross.  
Lawman is looking to close the distance and lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Lawman walks his opponent into the corner.  Lawman hits home with a sharp left hook.  
Lawman lands a sharp left hook.  
Lawman is on target with a jab.  
Lawman quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Cerrito finds the target with a jab.  
Lawman closes the distance.  Cerrito pivots to the side of his opponent.  Cerrito throws a right hook, but Lawman ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Lawman pushes his forearm into Cerrito's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Cerrito's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Cerrito's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.

Cerrito quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Lawman is on target with a right hook to Cerrito's body.  
Cerrito steps away from his opponent.  Lawman hits the target with a sharp jab.  
Lawman lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Lawman throws a right hook, but the shot is blocked.  Lawman ties up his opponent.  Lawman throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head.

Lawman pivots to the side of his opponent.  Lawman tries to land a left hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a cross.

Lawman walks Cerrito into a corner.  Lawman pivots to the left of his opponent.  Lawman lands a left hook to the head, a left uppercut to the head and a left hook to the body.  Lawman ties up his opponent.  Lawman hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Lawman about fouling.
