Brin Dow vs Mark Connolly

Boxing Daily Report from the Hands Promotions promoted show at The Electric Factory, Philadelphia,  taking place on 15/05/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Brin Dow (6 - 0) who hails from Greeley, USA and Mark Connolly(7 - 6 - 1) from Columbus, USA.  Both Dow and Connolly weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Garrett, and the three ringside judges are Sam Fenty, Chris Henry and John Paille.  

Round 1: 

Dow pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook.  
Dow steps inside.  Dow quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Dow throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Dow is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Dow retreats back to the ropes, and waits for his opponent to attack.  Connolly steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.  
Connolly waits at the mid-range with a lowered guard, waiting for his opponent to throw a punch.  Dow is on target with a left hook.  
Dow advances into close range and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Dow lands a right hook followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head.  
Dow lands a stiff jab.  
Connolly tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Dow advances into close range and is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribcage.

Dow closes the distance and drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Dow lands with a stinging jab.  
Dow steps inside and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Dow steps inside.  Connolly sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Dow lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  He then lands a double right hook to his opponents head.

Dow wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Connolly dabs at his face checking for damage.  Connolly has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight damage to the nose.  
Dow is looking to close the distance and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.
