Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Sunshine Coast Stadium, Sunshine Coast,  taking place on 22/05/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Oceania Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Peter Clay (7 - 0) who hails from Melbourne, Australia and Mel Christopher(18(1) - 2 - 1) from Wellington, New Zealand.  Clay weighed in at 112 pounds, while Christopher weighed in at 111 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Barry Forbes, and the three ringside judges are Chris Weir, Johnny Deasmhumhain and Scott Martin.
