Kei Ikeda vs Yuichi Ito

Boxing Daily Report from the Ninja Warriors promoted show at Aichi Prefectural Martial Arts Center, Nagoya,  taking place on 22/05/2027:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Kei Ikeda (17(1) - 0) who hails from Amagasaki, Japan and Yuichi Ito(9 - 1 - 1) from Yokohama, Japan.  Both Ikeda and Ito weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hajime Miki, and the three ringside judges are Satoshi Iwai, Mitsuru Yoshikawa and Daiki Onishi.  

Round 1: 

Ikeda is looking to keep his distance and hits home with a stiff jab.

Ikeda steps to the outside and lands a jab, overhand right and a jab to his opponents head.  
Ikeda advances into close range and lands two left hooks followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Ikeda clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Ikeda pushes his forearm into Ito's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Ito's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Ito's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Ito's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.
