Aftab Badini vs Elshan Mekhtiyev

Boxing Daily Report from the Njoroge Promotions promoted show at Baku Gad, Baku,  taking place on 14/05/2027:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Azerbaijan-Absheron Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Aftab Badini (11 - 4) who hails from Baku, Azerbaijan and Elshan Mekhtiyev(9 - 7 - 2) from Baku, Azerbaijan.  Both Badini and Mekhtiyev weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nariman Jafri, and the three ringside judges are Urfan Abaskuliyev, Alekber Ameen and Mammad Akbarov.
