Jay Shone vs Mark Galbreth

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Jamaica-Kingston promoted show at Kingston Smiles, Kingston,  taking place on 14/05/2027:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Jamaica-Kingston Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jay Shone (9 - 2) who hails from Kingston, Jamaica and Mark Galbreth(3 - 9 - 2) from Kingston, Jamaica.  Shone weighed in at 118 pounds, while Galbreth weighed in at 117 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is John Woodburn, and the three ringside judges are Chris Moir, Geoff Torrence and Edward Bivens.  

Round 1: 

Shone walks Galbreth into a corner.  Shone drives a right uppercut into Galbreth's ribcage.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Shone dabs at his face checking for damage.  Shone has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.

Shone gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Galbreth sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Shone lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.

Shone lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Shone clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Shone pushes his forearm into Galbreth's face.  The ref breaks Shone's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Shone closes the distance and hits home with a left hook.
