Matt Ritchey vs Matthew Newburn

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Sunshine Coast Stadium, Sunshine Coast,  taking place on 05/06/2027:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Australia-Queensland Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Matt Ritchey (15 - 10) who hails from Brisbane, Australia and Matthew Newburn(17 - 10 - 1) from Brisbane, Australia.  Ritchey weighed in at 147 pounds, while Newburn weighed in at 146 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is James Westwood, and the three ringside judges are Ewan Duffy, Barry Forbes and John Wark.
