Marco Riva vs Federico Silvera

Boxing Daily Report from the Castro Cigars promoted show at Havana Claro, Havana,  taking place on 16/05/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Cuba-Havana Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Marco Riva (14 - 2 - 3) who hails from Havana, Cuba and Federico Silvera(13 - 7 - 3) from Havana, Cuba.  Both Riva and Silvera weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Beltran Diaz, and the three ringside judges are Berto Marcelino, Alvino Navarra and Jose Tadeo.  

Round 1: 

Riva voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Silvera tries to tag Riva on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  Silvera connects with a cross.
