Davin Holt vs Ulffr Thuesen

Boxing Daily Report from the Awoonor Promotions promoted show at Awoonor Gym, Roskilde,  taking place on 17/05/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Denmark-Region Sjaelland Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Davin Holt (15(1) - 2 - 1) who hails from Roskilde, Denmark and Ulffr Thuesen(11 - 6 - 5) from Roskilde, Denmark.  Both Holt and Thuesen weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ultar Bergesen, and the three ringside judges are Wray Juergensen, Denholm Boie and Knute Cornelius.  

Round 1: 

Holt pivots to the left of his opponent.  Holt is on target with a left hook.  Holt clinches his opponent.  Holt uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Thuesen behind the head. Holt is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Holt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Holt lowers his guard, attempting to draw a lead.  Thuesen lands a right hook.  
Holt quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Holt lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Thuesen hits home with a cross.  
Holt gets on the inside and hits home with a left hook.  
Holt closes the distance and lands a firm left hook.  
Holt connects with a left hook.  
Holt quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Holt feints a jab, fooling Thuesen into throwing a right hook counter.  Holt springs the trap, countering with  a cross.  
Holt is looking to close the distance and is on target with a stinging right hook to Thuesen's body.  
Thuesen throws a right hook, but Holt clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Holt pushes his forearm into Thuesen's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Holt walks Thuesen down, trapping him in the blue corner.  Holt drives a right hook into his opponents ribcage.  
Thuesen tries to land a right hook, but Holt slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Holt pivots to the right of his opponent and connects with a sharp right uppercut.  
Holt is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a jab to the head followed by a cross to the body.  
Holt advances into close range and connects with a left hook.  
Holt sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Holt is on target with a right hook.  Holt clinches his opponent.  Holt leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Holt uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Thuesen behind the head. As they grapple, Holt pushes his forearm into Thuesen's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Holt to stop fouling.

Holt lands with a hard jab.  Holt throws a cross, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right hook to his opponents ribs.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Thuesen's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Thuesen's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Thuesen's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Holt quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.  
Holt lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.

Holt tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Holt is looking to keep the action on the outside and is on target with a firm cross.

Holt lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Holt lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.

Holt senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Thuesen and just needs the right shot.  Holt digs in a weighty left uppercut to Thuesen's body.  THUESEN HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  
Holt lands a left uppercut followed by  two right uppercuts to his opponents body, AND THUESEN IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  
Holt switches the action to the outside and is on target with a solid cross.  
Thuesen steps inside and walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Some sustained pressure from Holt could be enough to finish Thuesen!  Holt crashes a hurtful right hook to his opponents ribcage.  THUESEN HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  HE ISNT GOING TO BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Holt!
