Spencer Gerads vs Mick Meincke

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Ohio promoted show at Cleveland Dodd, Cleveland,  taking place on 15/05/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Ohio Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Spencer Gerads (9 - 0) who hails from Cleveland, USA and Mick Meincke(8 - 8 - 3) from Cincinnati, USA.  Both Gerads and Meincke weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Noah Anderberg, and the three ringside judges are James Osmundsen, James Marean and Stuart Lauritzen.  

Round 1: 

Gerads is looking to close the distance.  Gerads sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Gerads throws a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot.  Gerads holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Gerads pushes his forearm into Meincke's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Gerads.

Gerads throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Gerads to stop fouling.
