Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Canterbury promoted show at Stephen Patu Gym, Christchurch,  taking place on 19/05/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the New Zealand Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Prime, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Matt Waldie (19 - 2) who hails from Christchurch, New Zealand and Ashley Lin(8 - 5 - 1) from Christchurch, New Zealand.  Waldie weighed in at 108 pounds, while Lin weighed in at 107 pounds and 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Dave Pera, and the three ringside judges are Ian Duff, Tobias Vert and Gareth Young.  

Round 1: 

Lin steps to the outside.  Waldie lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.
