Nori Furuya vs Iwao Sunada

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Osaka promoted show at Hitoshi Ito Gym, Osaka,  taking place on 23/05/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Osaka Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Nori Furuya (6 - 5 - 1) who hails from Osaka, Japan and Iwao Sunada(5 - 7) from Sakai, Japan.  Furuya weighed in at 108 pounds, while Sunada weighed in at 107 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Mitsuru Kanai, and the three ringside judges are Kenji Tamura, Naoki Shiraki and Kazuhiko Matsunaga.
