Gervasio Mantilla vs Ramirez Ponce

Boxing Daily Report from the Yeray Heras promoted show at Ciudad Apodaca Robles, Ciudad Apodaca,  taking place on 25/04/2027:

Clearly Yeray Heras have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Nuevo Leon Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gervasio Mantilla (7 - 11 - 3) who hails from Monterrey, Mexico and Ramirez Ponce(15 - 10) from Ciudad Apodaca, Mexico.  Mantilla weighed in at 147 pounds, while Ponce weighed in at 147 pounds and 14 ounces.    As Ponce came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Emanuel Yanez, and the three ringside judges are Frisco Maya, Santiago Fuertes and Miguel Nazario.
