Jax Berrones vs Desiderio Barco

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Tamaulipas promoted show at Beltran Behar Gym, Nuevo Laredo,  taking place on 25/04/2027:

Clearly AI Mexico-Tamaulipas have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Tamaulipas Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jax Berrones (6 - 7(1) - 9) who hails from Matamoros, Mexico and Desiderio Barco(7 - 11 - 2) from Ciudad Victoria, Mexico.  Berrones weighed in at 232 pounds and 12 ounces, while Barco weighed in at 237 pounds and 2 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Emanuel Mieras, and the three ringside judges are Cisco Socarras, Angel Albo and Selestino Berlanga.  

Round 1: 

Barco gets on the inside and hits home with a left hook.

That has caused damage to the nose.
