Spencer Maver vs Rob Lawson

Boxing Daily Report from the Slick Rick Promotions promoted show at Auckland Scripture, Auckland,  taking place on 26/04/2027:

Clearly Slick Rick Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Auckland Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Spencer Maver (5 - 3 - 1) who hails from Manukau, New Zealand and Rob Lawson(13 - 4 - 2) from Waitakere, New Zealand.  Both Maver and Lawson weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dale Mostyn, and the three ringside judges are Blake Brown, Max Weatherspoon and Lloyd Rease.  

Round 1: 

Lawson lands a double jab to his opponents head.
