Gus Azutambata vs Kamran Taheri

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Borno State promoted show at Gareth Babayaro Gym, Maiduguri,  taking place on 26/04/2027:

Clearly AI Nigeria-Borno State have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-Borno State Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gus Azutambata (13 - 5 - 2) who hails from Bama, Nigeria and Kamran Taheri(4 - 7 - 1) from Maiduguri, Nigeria.  Azutambata weighed in at 146 pounds and 12 ounces, while Taheri weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Thompson Ezenwaka, and the three ringside judges are Obaid Shariff, Syed Hariri and Gethin Rotimi.
