Blake Muhavi vs Malcolm Nabwera

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at Mbaraki Sports Club, Mombasa,  taking place on 29/05/2027:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Kenya Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on WWX Sport, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Blake Muhavi (17 - 6(1)) who hails from Mombasa, Kenya and Malcolm Nabwera(14 - 10) from Mombasa, Kenya.  Both Muhavi and Nabwera weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Connor Kamau, and the three ringside judges are Robert Perlo, Hassan Badini and Lewis Muriuki.  

Round 1: 

Nabwera throws a left hook, but Muhavi clinches his opponent.  Nabwera is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Muhavi gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Muhavi hits home with a stiff jab.
