Vicente Islas vs Rafael Puente

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Baja California promoted show at Ensenada Bernabe, Ensenada,  taking place on 23/05/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Mexico-Baja California Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Vicente Islas (10 - 6 - 5) who hails from Ensenada, Mexico and Rafael Puente(12 - 1) from Mexicali, Mexico.  Islas weighed in at 130 pounds, while Puente weighed in at 129 pounds And 1 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Joaquin Badillo, and the three ringside judges are Jeraldo Toribio, Vicente Navarra and Gervasio Sastre.
