Boxing Daily Report from the Faress Promotions promoted show at Gunsan Chang, Gunsan,  taking place on 01/06/2027:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the South Korea-Gwangju Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jin-hyeon Chun (12(4) - 0) who hails from Gwangju, South Korea and Chang-soo Kook(16 - 5) from Gwangju, South Korea.  Both Chun and Kook weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ja-choel Lee, and the three ringside judges are Sung-yun Kang, Keun-ho Chon and Young-cheol To.  

Round 1: 

Chun lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Chun feints a jab, and then lands an overhand right, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Kook quickly recovers. 
Kook gets on the inside.  Chun lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Chun hits the target with a ramrod jab.  
Chun lands a cross followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Chun lands a straight 1 - 2.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Chun is looking to force the stoppage!  Chun connects with a mean left uppercut.  KOOK HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  It looks like Kook has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Chun lands an overhand left.

Kook throws a left uppercut, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left hook.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Kook's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Kook's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Kook advances into close range.  Chun lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Chun quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook.  
Chun lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Chun tries to step out of his opponents range and drives a ramrod jab into his opponents face.  
Chun hits the target with a spiteful jab.  
Chun lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Chun steps away from his opponent and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.

Kook connects with an overhand left.  
Kook tries to land a left uppercut, but Chun sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.

Kook is looking to close the distance.  Chun lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Chun holds on to his opponent.  Chun pushes his forearm into Kook's face.  The referee warns Chun and breaks the clinch.

Kook gets on the inside.  Chun senses Kook is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Chun lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS KOOK DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 6.  
Chun lands a cross followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND SENDS KOOK SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  
Kook advances into close range.  Chun DETONATES a FIERCE right uppercut on his opponents face.  KOOK HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  HE IS STILL STRUGGLING TO HIS FEET AS THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Chun!
