Angel Rolon vs Carlos Monsalve

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Guerrero promoted show at Acapulco Vicario, Acapulco,  taking place on 26/05/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Guerrero Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Angel Rolon (12 - 8 - 1) who hails from Acapulco, Mexico and Carlos Monsalve(15 - 4(1) - 5) from Acapulco, Mexico.  Rolon weighed in at 139 pounds And 10 ounces, while Monsalve weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jerrold Santibanez, and the three ringside judges are Santiago Verduzco, Xeres Hermosillo and Carlos Sancho.  

Round 1: 

Monsalve tries to keep the action at long range and finds the target with a jab.  
Rolon throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Monsalve time to recover.

Monsalve attempts to land a jab, but Rolon dodges the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Monsalve walks his opponent down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Monsalve pivots from in front of his opponent.  Rolon hits home with a cross.  
Monsalve switches the action to the outside and snaps his opponents head back with a stiff jab.  
Monsalve throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Monsalve tries to step out of his opponents range and lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Rolon's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.
