Matt Manenga vs Thabang Lakay

Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Africa-Gauteng promoted show at Jackson Mkhize Gym, Soweto,  taking place on 30/04/2027:

Clearly AI South Africa-Gauteng have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Africa-Gauteng Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Matt Manenga (15 - 9 - 4) who hails from Soweto, South Africa and Thabang Lakay(10 - 9(1) - 2) from Johannesburg, South Africa.  Both Manenga and Lakay weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Barry Khuzwayo, and the three ringside judges are Quaashie Duncan, Phumelele Mkhize and Colin Ntambwe.
