Adam Sherratt vs Brad Lace

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at Spectrum Stadium, Orlando,  taking place on 26/06/2027:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the IRBF Intercontinental Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on HBO, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Adam Sherratt (20(6) - 5(5) - 1) who hails from Aurora, USA and Brad Lace(15 - 2(1)) from Halifax, Canada.  Both Sherratt and Lace weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Juan Molina, and the three ringside judges are John Owens, Stuart Gillund and Hugh Guffy.  

Round 1: 

Sherratt lands a cross.  
Sherratt steps away from his opponent.  Lace attempts to land a jab, but Sherratt sidesteps and counters with a stinging left hook to Lace's ribs.  
Sherratt pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a jab to Lace's body.

Lace attempts to land a cross, but Sherratt sidesteps and counters with a firm right hook to his opponents body.  
Sherratt switches the action to the outside.  Sherratt sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Lace lands a jab to his opponents body.  
Lace pivots to the side of his opponent.  Sherratt connects with a left uppercut.  
Sherratt pivots to the right of his opponent and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Lace throws a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut to Lace's ribcage.  
Lace walks Sherratt down, trapping him on the ropes.  Sherratt hits the target with a spiteful jab.

Sherratt lands a hard jab.  Sherratt attempts to land a jab, but Lace sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Sherratt steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  Lace steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.  
Sherratt lands a spiteful jab.  
Lace tries to land a cross, but Sherratt blocks the shot and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Sherratt lands a jab, cross and an overhand right to his opponents head, AND DROPS LACE!  He manages to get up at 6.  
Sherratt knows Lace is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Sherratt lands a left hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  He then lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents head, AND LACE IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He tries to rise but his legs dont respond...the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Sherratt!
