Waqar Sattar vs Amer Basher

Boxing Daily Report from the Gore Promotions promoted show at Gore Gym, Boston,  taking place on 22/05/2027:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Waqar Sattar (5 - 0) who hails from Worcester, USA and Amer Basher(1 - 1 - 1) from Gulu, Uganda.  Both Sattar and Basher weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nathan Burt, and the three ringside judges are Hassan Quadri, Ian Noble and Oliver McCleese.  

Round 1: 

Sattar closes the distance and lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Sattar pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook.  
Sattar is on target with a left hook to Basher's body.  
Basher digs in a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Sattar digs in a left hook to Basher's body.  Sattar clinches his opponent.  Basher is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Basher.  
Sattar lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Sattar forces Basher to retreat into a corner.  Basher throws a left hook, but Sattar holds on to his opponent.  Sattar is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. As they grapple, Sattar pushes his forearm into Basher's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Sattar.  
Sattar is on target with a left hook to Basher's ribs.  
Sattar digs in a right hook to Basher's ribcage.  
Sattar lands a jab.  
Sattar is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Basher closes the distance.  Sattar lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Basher gets on the inside and walks Sattar down, trapping him in a corner.  Sattar is on target with a left hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Basher's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.

Sattar closes the distance and digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Sattar gets on the inside and throws a left hook, but his opponent steps away from the shot.  Sattar holds on to his opponent.  Sattar is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Sattar's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Basher pivots to the side of his opponent.  Sattar finds the target with a jab.

Sattar lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Sattar pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by two left hook's to the head.  
Basher quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Sattar drives a left hook into his opponents body.  Sattar wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Basher dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Sattar hits home with a right hook.
