Chris Prentice vs Taro Ando

Boxing Daily Report from the Namadembwe Promotions promoted show at Kawaguchi Kinoshita, Kawaguchi,  taking place on 01/06/2027:

Clearly Namadembwe Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Chris Prentice (16(12) - 0) who hails from Waitakere, New Zealand and Taro Ando(5 - 3 - 1) from Sendai, Japan.  Both Prentice and Ando weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ichiro Tsuchiya, and the three ringside judges are Dai Shiroma, Aki Iseri and Naoki Tengan.  

Round 1: 

Prentice hits home with a firm overhand right.  
Prentice tries to step out of his opponents range and connects with a stinging cross.

Ando lowers his hands, trying to provoke his opponent to attack.  Prentice lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.

He then lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  Prentice ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Prentice pushes his forearm into Ando's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Prentice.

Ando advances into close range and manouvers his opponent into a corner.  Ando lands a right hook.  Prentice holds on to his opponent.  Prentice tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Ando behind the head. 
Prentice switches the action to the outside and hits home with a cross.  
Prentice lands a jab followed by  two overhand rights to his opponents head.  
Prentice lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Prentice is looking to keep his distance and lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands two jabs followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Ando closes the distance.  Prentice lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.
