Iskender Namik vs Can Cholasan

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Turkey-Adana promoted show at Adana Yalaz, Adana,  taking place on 01/06/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Turkey Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on NTV Spor, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Iskender Namik (17 - 1(1)) who hails from Adana, Turkey and Can Cholasan(21(16) - 3(3) - 1) from Ankara, Turkey.  Namik weighed in at 117 pounds and 14 ounces, while Cholasan weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ediz Akburch, and the three ringside judges are Bayram Ince, Temel Gonul and Ediz Emin.  

Round 1: 

Namik finds the target with a solid jab.  Namik attempts to land a cross, but Cholasan slips the shot and counters with a left hook.

Cholasan closes the distance.  Namik throws a right hook, but Cholasan ties up his opponent.  Cholasan pushes his forearm into Namik's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.

Cholasan is looking to close the distance and is on target with a solid left hook to his opponents body.  
Namik tries to keep the action at long range and hits home with a sharp jab.  
Cholasan closes the distance.  Namik throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Cholasan's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Namik switches the action to the outside and is on target with a sharp cross.  
Cholasan sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Namik lands a jab.  
Cholasan lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Cholasan cuts off the ring, trapping Namik on the ropes.  Cholasan lands a left hook, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Namik recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Cholasan lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.
