Kian Menelaws vs Paul Nessmith

Boxing Daily Report from the Najjemba Promotions promoted show at Harvey McDermott Gym, Durham,  taking place on 30/05/2027:

Clearly Najjemba Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-North Carolina Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kian Menelaws (9(2) - 2 - 1(NC)) who hails from Raleigh, USA and Paul Nessmith(9 - 2 - 3) from Charlotte, USA.  Both Menelaws and Nessmith weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Bryan James, and the three ringside judges are Paul Gath, Bryan James and Kian Bourne.  

Round 1: 

Menelaws tries to land a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Nessmith throws a right hook, but Menelaws clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Nessmith pushes his forearm into Menelaws's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Nessmith to stop fouling.
