Puleng Phala vs Robert Smit

Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Africa-Western Cape promoted show at Mandla Keet Gym, Khayelitsha,  taking place on 05/05/2027:

Clearly AI South Africa-Western Cape have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Africa-Western Cape Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Puleng Phala (4 - 2 - 2) who hails from Mitchells Plain, South Africa and Robert Smit(9(1) - 2) from Cape Town, South Africa.  Phala weighed in at 174 pounds and 10 ounces, while Smit weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jake Tshipapayi, and the three ringside judges are Oringo Arthur, Rob Ndombe and Kasi Hlatshwayo.
