Barry Rusere vs Theo Vermeulen

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Zimbabwe-Harare promoted show at Harare Basketball Club, Harare,  taking place on 03/06/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Zimbabwe Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Joy TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Barry Rusere (13 - 4) who hails from Harare, Zimbabwe and Theo Vermeulen(21(2) - 1) from Harare, Zimbabwe.  Both Rusere and Vermeulen weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Floyd Tekere, and the three ringside judges are Oliver Magwa, Stephen Mubako and Quintavius Mubako.
