John Hughen vs Peter Flower

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Canterbury promoted show at Ian Salmond Gym, Christchurch,  taking place on 03/06/2027:

Clearly AI New Zealand-Canterbury have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Canterbury Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Hughen (4 - 12 - 4) who hails from Christchurch, New Zealand and Peter Flower(3 - 3 - 4) from Christchurch, New Zealand.  Hughen weighed in at 159 pounds and 2 ounces, while Flower weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gareth Young, and the three ringside judges are Ian Webb, Noel Haxton and Mark Atchison.
