Nhlakanipho Ekstein vs Napoleon Zungu

Boxing Daily Report from the South African Boxers promoted show at Soweto Hall, Soweto,  taking place on 30/05/2027:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Nhlakanipho Ekstein (1 - 0) who hails from Soweto, South Africa and Napoleon Zungu(1 - 3) from iBhayi, South Africa.  Ekstein weighed in at 126 pounds, while Zungu weighed in at 125 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Aenas Van der Walt, and the three ringside judges are Tshepo Nqakula, Charel Cilliers and Tshepo Dikgacoi.  

Round 1: 

Ekstein steps inside.  Ekstein lands a stinging left hook.

Ekstein pivots to the right of his opponent.  Zungu throws a right uppercut, but Ekstein clinches his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Zungu throws a left hook, but Ekstein ties up his opponent.  Ekstein pushes his forearm into Zungu's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Ekstein to stop fouling.

Ekstein advances into close range.  Zungu throws a right hook, but Ekstein ties up his opponent.  Zungu is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Ekstein's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Ekstein steps inside.  Ekstein sidesteps to the left of his opponent and hits home with a firm right uppercut.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Ekstein dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Ekstein gets on the inside.  Ekstein backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Zungu accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Ekstein.  
Zungu sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Ekstein connects with a solid left hook.

That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.

That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
