Mel Kidd vs Steven Jones

Boxing Daily Report from the K Promotions promoted show at Greenbank Sports Centre, Liverpool,  taking place on 05/06/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Central England Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mel Kidd (10 - 3(1) - 1(NC)) who hails from Sheffield, UK and Steven Jones(14 - 10(1) - 2) from Leicester, UK.  Kidd weighed in at 239 pounds And 3 ounces, while Jones weighed in at 245 pounds And 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Cody Biggs, and the three ringside judges are Shaun Halliburton, Henry Florian and Nick Monahan.
