Rex Catherwood vs Fred Messiaen

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-New York State promoted show at Radio City Music Hall, New York City,  taking place on 01/07/2027:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a tournament fight from Nassau FW.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on HBO, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Rex Catherwood (13 - 8(1) - 2) who hails from Richmond, Canada and Fred Messiaen(1 - 12 - 6) from Utrecht, Netherlands.  Both Catherwood and Messiaen weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Zafa Rafiq, and the three ringside judges are Michael Pride, Ben Banos and John Mulherin.
