Rob Gorrie vs Dario Merced

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at University at Buffalo Alumni Arena, Buffalo,  taking place on 23/06/2027:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the North American Minimumweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Now TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Rob Gorrie (18(2) - 5 - 1) who hails from Ottawa, Canada and Dario Merced(14 - 6 - 2) from Santo Domingo de Guzman, Dominican Republic.  Both Gorrie and Merced weighed in at 105 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Davie Sanchez, and the three ringside judges are Billy Byrnes, Kieran Whitten and Mark Winstone.
