Liang Ren vs Shinji Okino

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Yoyogi National Gymnasium, Tokyo,  taking place on 19/06/2027:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the East Asian Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV Tokyo, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Liang Ren (16 - 7) who hails from Beijing, China and Shinji Okino(11 - 2(2)) from Sendai, Japan.  Ren weighed in at 175 pounds, while Okino weighed in at 174 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ichiro Kaya, and the three ringside judges are Satoshi Fuse, Daichi Noda and Taro Harada.  

Round 1: 

Ren attempts to land a jab, but Okino slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.
