Brin Monce vs John Tonner

Boxing Daily Report from the Namugerwa Promotions promoted show at Calgary Pentland, Calgary,  taking place on 14/06/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Canada-Alberta Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Network, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Brin Monce (10 - 8 - 2) who hails from Edmonton, Canada and John Tonner(16 - 8 - 2) from Calgary, Canada.  Monce weighed in at 199 pounds and 6 ounces, while Tonner weighed in at 199 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Tyson Bart, and the three ringside judges are Malcolm Jones, Chris Bach and Oscar Lewis.
