Nao Okubo vs Aoi Sugita

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Yoyogi National Gymnasium, Tokyo,  taking place on 19/06/2027:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV Tokyo, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Nao Okubo (13 - 6(1) - 1(NC)) who hails from Sakai, Japan and Aoi Sugita(16 - 9(4) - 1) from Nagoya, Japan.  Both Okubo and Sugita weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Satoshi Fuse, and the three ringside judges are Daichi Noda, Ichiro Kaya and Taro Harada.
