Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at Standard Bank Arena, Johannesburg,  taking place on 26/06/2027:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the South Africa Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Vashon The Mad Duck Magqwaka (16(7) - 2) who hails from Soweto, South Africa and Gethin Phiri(11 - 1) from iBhayi, South Africa.  Both Magqwaka and Phiri weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vince Van Deventer, and the three ringside judges are Ontibile Nyauza, Bernardus Hertzog and Nwa Ntuli.
