Luka Maitakov vs Viktor Zhirov

Boxing Daily Report from the Simambe Promotions promoted show at Melor Kabanov Gym, Volgograd,  taking place on 30/05/2027:

Clearly Simambe Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Russia-Volgograd Oblast Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Luka Maitakov (7 - 2 - 5) who hails from Volgograd, Russia and Viktor Zhirov(14 - 3 - 1) from Volgograd, Russia.  Maitakov weighed in at 135 pounds, while Zhirov weighed in at 134 pounds And 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Goga Kuzma, and the three ringside judges are Ioakim Vasilev, Kolya Nikolaev and Timofei Dzagoev.

Maitakov advances into close range and lands a right hook.
