Gervasio Amaro vs Rafael Merlos

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Spain-Catalonia promoted show at Badalona Celestino, Badalona,  taking place on 31/05/2027:

Clearly AI Spain-Catalonia have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Spain-Catalonia Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gervasio Amaro (3 - 9(2) - 4) who hails from Barcelona, Spain and Rafael Merlos(7 - 7(2) - 4) from Barcelona, Spain.  Both Amaro and Merlos weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Fausto Mieras, and the three ringside judges are Berto Guillermo, Franco Morales and Leonardo Lusco.
