Kristian Korhonen vs Joona Tawastjerna

Boxing Daily Report from the Wekinky Promotions promoted show at Hartwall Arena, Helsinki,  taking place on 07/07/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Finland-Uusimaa Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on MTV Sport 1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Kristian Korhonen (19(8) - 0) who hails from Helsinki, Finland and Joona Tawastjerna(23 - 6 - 2) from Espoo, Finland.  Both Korhonen and Tawastjerna weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Elmo Alvar, and the three ringside judges are Rami Kivimaki, Leevi Erola and Matteus Vaatainen.

Tawastjerna closes the distance.  Korhonen hits home with a stinging left hook.  Korhonen clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Korhonen pushes his forearm into Tawastjerna's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Korhonen about fouling.
