Santiago Paiz vs Guillermo Morillo

Boxing Daily Report from the Mwanambulo Promotions promoted show at Pedro Rokero Gimnasio+�, Panama City,  taking place on 29/06/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Panama Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on NEXtv, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Santiago Paiz (3 - 0) who hails from Panama City, Panama and Guillermo Morillo(6 - 10(1) - 4) from Panama City, Panama.  Both Paiz and Morillo weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Diego Villagrana, and the three ringside judges are Alejandro Magdaleno, Alejandro Rascon and Urvano Castrejon.  

Round 1: 

Morillo pivots to the left of his opponent.  Morillo throws a right uppercut, but Paiz ties up his opponent.  Paiz leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Morillo throws a left hook, but Paiz clinches his opponent.  Paiz pushes his forearm into Morillo's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Paiz closes the distance and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  He continues the combination and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.
